TyRell

At 26 years old the soulful smooth crooner, born as Tereance Jackson but better known to the music world as TyRell, is a born native of Jacksonville, Florida. His love of music stems all the way back to his early teen years. TyRell has a wide array of musical influences such as the Temptations, Stylistics, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Dru Hill, Boys II Men, K-Ci and JoJo, Musiq Soulchild, Alicia Keys, Raheem Davaughn, Vivian Green and more.

Following graduation T’Rell found himself in a little trouble with the law, and served time in the Florida prison system. However, that very ordeal resulted in him becoming very focused on his music career. In fact, it was there where he taught himself how to play the acoustic guitar and keyboard that is heard all thorough out his music, which he co-produces. TyRell is also a very talented writer; penning lyrics that make you contemplate your own love life, in addition to wondering just how much this sexy young man has experienced in his own life. “I have some experiences in life that have taught me how to be true to who I am, both personally as well as musically”, states TyRell

TyRell’s music has a feel that many male artists in the industry are missing today. Blessed with golden vocal chords, he has the ability to take music from all generations and fuse them together to create a sound all of his own. He is definitely not the average studio entertainer, the flow of his music ranges from soulful, retro, back-in-the day sound, to a smooth and sexy old school 90’s era, or flow with a contemporary funky, club vibe. “ Words that come to mind when I think of music are smooth and mellow, because that is the exact feeling I get when the music is flowing through me”-states TyRell.

So that he never tires while in pursuit of his passion for music, he lives by the infamous words of Mohammed Ali, “Champions are made from something they have deep inside them- a desire, a dream, a vision”. These ideas will provide him with longevity in a constantly changing industry and will drive him to be in a class of his own.
